Many fellow practitioners understand the importance of evidence-based practice (EBP), but not many know how to bring about institutional and cultural changes within their organizations for EBP to take root and grow.
In response to the need to the sector, the EBP Conference 2011 provides a good opportunity for every participant to:
  • learn about the Evidence-based Practice experiences of local and overseas NGOs
  • Have a crystallized picture of the sectoral effort on evidence-based practice by bringing together individual research efforts in the NGOs sector
  • Build up network among researchers / research practitioners in NGOs
  • It is expected that the participants can be engaged in an all-rounded sharing and discussion to identify appropriate strategies that can effect change in their organizations towards evidence-based practice.
